Musings on Shoes and Chocolate

The box of chocolate I got myself around Mother's Day had a saying on it along the lines that "Chocolate is like shoes; the more you have, the happier you are." Some days I've been inclined to agree with that thought, but on further reflection, perhaps it is not so simple as that. Yes, it's fun to have an abundance of chocolate or shoes, but how fun is it when the chocolate has permanently bonded with you or the shoes are scattered all over the place? Nevertheless, I'll be happy to accept gifts of shoes or chocolate, if anyone feels like gifting . . . :)
