Generally speaking, the kids do pretty well with fruit. They pretty much either eat it or leave it, and everything's okay. And then a professional two-year-old came on the scene . . .
So, there we were, Mom and the two-year-old as the only two in the family still at the table. I didn't actually see anything happen, but there were blueberries on the table and Mr. Two suddenly exclaimed "Ouch!" And, in some strange mom-ish way, I knew in that instant that Mr. Two had just shoved a blueberry up his nose. Dr. Dad performed a blueberry-ectomy, and just to make sure the lesson stuck, he offered to replace the blueberry, which idea Mr. Two loudly rejected. However, just to be safe, methinks we'll stick with strawberries and such for awhile now.
