The Network (of blogs, that is; sorry, Verizon)
They say you're never more than a few people away from anyone within the LDS church, meaning that although Jim doesn't know Sue, he does know Tom whose sister Liz knows Amy whose roommate's brother used to date Sue, etc. In trying to build my blog link network, I've just found an actual instance of such a chain:
