Let the sewing begin

Time to talk about a new hobby. I like Jane Austen and many things regency. I now live in an area that has a regency ball every year. Since I want to go to it next year in style, I've decided it's time to learn to sew. I'm currently working on making a doll-size dress, which is going fairly well as long as I do the stitching by hand. I've also gotten a sewing machine, but the machine and I have some tension issues to work out. I will probably end up posting pictures later just because.
